Jeg skrev dette på et amerikansk forum i går, også har jeg litt dårlig tid nå, så jeg bare poster på engelsk, håper det går greit..
I bought a new BMW, got it cheap.
It's a 1998 BMW 316i E36 Saloon.
The seller said there might be some small problems, but he only sold the car for a client, so he would take no responsibility.
That's fine. However, today the unit controlling the automatic climate control started to fail.
When I start the car it doesn't start. Then it'll suddenly start, shut it self of.. start.. all of it's own free will.
Everytime it shuts down the display goes dark, but the buttons still glow red. The green lights indicating which setting you're on however, does not.
When it restarts it makes a sound almost like that of a macbook feeding out a CD.
There are also some times when the display is lit, but very vaguely. This suggests that it might just be a faulty wire or something?
I need help on this quick, because winter is coming here in Norway, and if it doesn't work I don't have either a defroster or any form of heat in my new car.. except in the seats, and that kinda sucks..
