Bilen som du snakker om er en lhd import fra japan.sjekk mail som jeg fikk fra Hartge Gmbh:
Thank you for your inquiry.
As HARTGE is an Automobile Manufacturer, all the cars we built in Beckingen, Germany had our HARTGE VIN number which we have documented in our archive.
A HARTGE VIN number is embossed on a small HARTGE blue metal plate being placed in the engine area, clearly visible on the wheel arch or at front part where the engine hood locks in. The car papers would also state the HARTGE VIN number.
However, any dealer could have also bought our HARTGE products and installed the HARTGE products (like engine conversions, aerodynamic kits, wheels, suspension etc.) themselves. In this case the BMW car papers would state our HARTGE products but the vehicle would not come with the HARTGE VIN number.
Furthermore, it has been brought to our attention that there are “HARTGE Japan” vehicles from Asia on the U.S. & European market which have nothing to do with our product.
We regret to inform you that we do not have any technical information regarding any vehicle sold so many years ago to help you do the restoration work.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Salutations cordiales
HARTGE Team
