Når RSX'en tok en u- sving for å stikke av, hoppet flere folk ut i veien for å forsøke å hindre RSX'en i å kjøre videre. Samtidig dro taxi'en (som også ble truffet) og en BMW etter RSX'en for å forsøke å stoppe vedkommede. Det ble så ringt 911 fra stedet og politiet kom dit. Der viste fotografen frem bildene til politiet som reagerte med latter. Tror etter det at moren ringte politiet og sa at guttungen kom til å møte opp i avhør.
