Hei! Jeg lufter nå dette helværste innsugskitet til m50 og m52! Finnes endel info om det på dbilas sine hjemmesider. Kvitteringer følger med. Det er som nytt, men bildene er dessverre ikke av de beste! Kan selges med Dave-f filterkit og m3 dyser. Dette koster 22k nytt inn til Norge, og er ikke en del som blir/er slitt. Det står litt om effektøkninger på nettet. Endrer endel på registeret. Det vil jo ha større innvirkning om man gjør andre endringer. Alene gir det 20-25hk. Usikker på nm. Men med en chip vil det bli endel ekstra, da man kan få justert alt til å gå ihop med endringene. Sammen med turbo vil det jo også være fint! Jeg merket spesielt mye på mellomregisteret. Der ville plutselig bilen ut med rumpa på 3-4k omdreininger. Vel å merke så kjørte aldri jeg med chip! Dbilas garanterer også at det ikke skal gi høyere slitasje.

Koster å være kar vettu, hypah! ;)

Det får ligge pent tilrettelagt på hylla i stua frem til jeg får 15k for det! 8)

Synes den prisreduseringen er mer enn gunstig nok, med tanke på at det er som nytt, og absolutt ikke taper seg i verdi!

Kjøper får forresten med m3 dyser og DAVE-F filterkitet på bildet om det blir betalt og hentet før filterkitet havner i en annen bil. Prisen vil ikke bli redusert om jeg rekker å sette det i en annen bil. Dette får man se som et pluss ved rask avgjørelse.

Breezy

after having a few niggles with running issues on my m3 I decided to drop her off to Custom Werks a couple of days before putting her on the dyno @ G force...

after a diagnostics was done she was running a bit lumpy and one of my lambda sensors had gone too, she didnt feel as quick as she used too, had all my spark plugs checked and they were shagged to say the least so had them all replaced along with the lambda sensor as she was running how she should again

first time I had her dynoed back in April she made 269.9 bhp but I hadnt owned her for very long so had no clear idea of how she was running...

anyway I also replaced the standard air panel filter with a new one as the old one was black to get a good run as standard as i have done no performace mods yet and she made.... 298.3bhp / 280 lbs/ft

Now I also wanted to see what increase a Dave F induction kit would give me so G Force kindly let me do another run with Dave F's induction kit. He didnt have any heatshields left so it was just the K&N cone fitted but because the bonnet was open and there was a large fan in front this wasnt really an issue for the pupose of the dyno run.

so the change over... sorry my airbox was so filthy dave!

Dave F kit fitted without heatshield.... one mother of a cone!

and the result an amazing roar and 12.8bhp increase which meant I got

311.1bhp / 280 lbs/ft

so there you go the Dave F induction kit tried & tested!

was just a shame having to go back to the standard airbox and only 298bhp on the way home

I think the test was done in the fairest way possible, Both filters were new items, I was impressed when Pav revieled a new paper element for the first run, good job really cos his was black and that would have given me an advantage over the stock item.

Unfortunately I had no heatshields available for the test, but with the large vetilation fan and the bonnet open, this shouldnt have been an issue. The Usual size K&N was used and the all important 90mm induction pipe was also fitted to straighten airflow before the MAF.

We did 3 runs with each kit, and the highest run taken as the final figure.

The car was not removed from the rollers in between tests, and the transition between filters was only about 5 minutes.

As Kul so rightly stated "yes my arse was twitching" with the second run, but it delivered the goods, and 13BHP Extra is about normal on this car. But please remember, that with the bonnet closed, both cold air feeds correctly fitted, and at speeds over 60mph, the area within the heatshield will become positively pressurised so gains will be greater, its such a shame that the effects cant be measured at 150MPH. Im sure they would be impressive.
