Weight of diff.someone know???

hello.does someone know weight of e30/e34 big diff?

Is it over 35kg?i want to send it but via post is only up to 35kg.

Or maybye you know other way to send it in one piece??

According to bmwfans.info part catalogue it is 37,3kg with lsd and 35,4kg without.

I don't think it is too heavy for Posten, but you'll have to pay about 80 NOKs extra because it is over 35kg

You can just remove the backlid, and send that seperatly.. Then you'll be just under 35, drain the oil too!

I sent a e39 520i diff to Namsos 1 month ago. It was 37kg but they accepted it. I did send a E39 M5 diff as well 2 month's ago, but posten would'nt accept that one so I used BRING instead. Gues the weight of the M5-diff was arround 40-45 kg and Bring took 650 NOK for shipping it from Drammen to Trondheim

I have shipped 3 "188" lsd differentials for e30. Without the oil and without the "medbringere" (axels) it just passes.

You can also try Cargo Partner. They shipped a Aprilia RS home to me a couple of years ago. And that obviously weighs more than a diff.
