EXXbmw Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Radiator fan blows very hard, not all the time but often when the car has been driven alot. No other issue with heat or anything just that the fan is blowing hard. No real issue aside from the fact that after standing still idling the car gets cold and doesnt blow as hot as when the car was under load. Its almost as if the fan blows so mich the engine gets a little colder than operating temp. Its hard to describe but the fan is making alot of noise. Just blowing noise no bad sounds or anything like that its just a loud fan noise. Anyone got any ideas

Otis Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Do you have access to a fault code reader? But the radiator fan should not be running at all, in the winter. Maybe sometimes, but generally not. Is the ac on?

Otis Posted December 1 Posted December 1 That fault code is not relevant to this "problem". Turn off your ac, and report back after a 15 min drive.
