In Møre og Romsdal, we have (just like the rest of the country) spring and autumn meet-ups with BMWCCN. The locations have varied a bit, but in recent years they have been held in Ålesund or Molde. The easiest way to stay updated is to follow "BMW Car Club Norway Møre og Romsdal" on Facebook. Thanks for the welcome! Not really into facebook though. I have zero (a)social media, but when the bimmer is imported I'll try to see if I can reach that grouppage 👍 @mr.pingu; Ook bedankt :). When did you arrive in Norge? mr.pingu reagerte på dette 1
mr.pingu Skrevet August 12, 2024 Skrevet August 12, 2024 (endret) You probably have to get FB, I found out lot of events are communicated through facebook, (unfortunately). I didn't have facebook before I came to Norway either. Ofcourse there are other channels but somehow in Norway lots of things are communicated through facebook-groups and snapchat. Not so much Whatsapp like we are used to in the rest of europe Almost 5 years ago, I live in the south though. Otherwise, I would come by and say hello Endret August 12, 2024 av mr.pingu Darudevampire reagerte på dette 1

Darudevampire Skrevet September 14 Forfatter Skrevet September 14 (endret) Hei alle sammen. Can anyone show me the correct steps I have to take for this? I have searched and wrote down what I think will be needed (please correct me if things are different). In april 2026, the car will be 20 years old, so If I've read correctly, I will only have to pay avgift and no additional mva? I can drive the car from NL to NO with temp plates and insurance to customs (so not the original Dutch plates). At customs, I will get a transit document Drive the car to the destination and plan a trip to the local statens vegvesen. There I have to show: A: the transit document, B: a bill of the car (I own the car for 5 years now, do I have to get it appraised before I drive it here since I did not buy it recently?, C; bill of transport and insurance costs (since I will drive it myself, what bills do I have to show?,D; COC, E: other information? After all is checked I have to pay the import fees and will get a registration document Before registation, I have to have the car on temp norwegian plates already (is that correct?). Insure the car before going to statens vegvesen (on VIN number or temp plates?) Appointment at local statens vegvesen and bring: Form NA-0221, ID, Car papers/registrations from NL, COC and receive the final plates Drive and smile Additional question: - My car is not in the original condition it rolled out of the factory (the biggest difference is the blue wrap on it, and maybe the Eisenmann exhaust). Will this cause me any issues? Endret September 14 av Darudevampire Patryck, Eystein Ose og Ingvaldsen reagerte på dette 3
Lars89 Skrevet September 14 Skrevet September 14 (endret) You only have to pay MVA (25% of current value). To establish the value you must get i appraised at a Bmw dealership in NL. Toll on transport fees are only standarized for import from Sweden, Denmark and Germany. It should be the same from NL as Germany (2500NOK) as its roughly the same distance. The import-process is described in detail here: https://www.vegvesen.no/en/vehicles/buy-and-sell/import/import-of-vehicles/?lang=en Any aftermarket parts have to be documented. If possible, get it approved before import to Norway Aftermarket lowering springs, wheels, exhaust etc have to have Tüv approval/papers. The color-change is not a issue. The car will be registered as blue. @Fredrik 90 have imported some cars and may be able to answer your questions. Endret September 14 av Lars89

Darudevampire Skrevet September 14 Forfatter Skrevet September 14 Got the TUV documents for the wheels (Avus AC-MB4), but need the TUV for the exhaust (B5304.00700). The rest should be OEM enough I think, or will they also trip over the angel eyes in the headlights?
